About Jacob, the Car, and the Clarinet II

This post has been long delayed!

So about Jacob - He passed the exams with Flying Colours! :) Congratulations sweetheart! I knew you could do it!

About the car - we bought the Honda Civic Hatchback 1.7... it's going good so far ;)

And about the Clarinet - I picked up my clarinet and tried out a number of times... then had a lesson ;) It's good fun!

So that's about it for the update... for those three things anyway... will write up another post with a proper thought process... lol.

All Whites vs Bahrain!

Yesterday a bunch of friends and myself went to the All Whites vs Bahrain World Cup qualifying match.

It was AWWWWWESOOOOME!!!!!

Come to think about it I've never cheered so hard for sports before... lol.

So glad that New Zealand won ;)

Still coughing... but we have bigger issues

Still coughing... and it's annoying cos that lump in my throat is not leaving me alone.

In other news... why is it that everytime i get stressed i start to bloat up? I get sick, and sometimes i put on weight. Or i start retaining water... and feel like throwing up half the time ;(

Stress. my long hated arch enemy. I don't deal with stress well. I'll tell you why.

I will.

Eventually.

So lets look at everything from all perspective...

Tomorrow we're picking up our car. Which is exciting - and then there's Jacob's results coming out.

And also, will be getting my clarinet soon. i applied for hire yesterday it should be here in a few days. ;)

lets hope all goes well... will have more to update tomorrow i guess...

Cough

Woke up on the morning of the NIV course with a sore throat... sort of? or maybe it was the morning before... but it was so sore that swallowing was a major issue.

And then the sniffling started... now coughing and sniffling and my nose is blocked. gah!

so.

Starting with the course... it was good. at least now i kinda understand most of the features - or just the basic features at least that should allow me to understand titrating a Bi-level patient a lot better. next just to finish my studying into the matter and then i should be a little closer to being sweet as. lol...

This weekend was a reasonably productive one. first of all... we now have a new car. sort of. still need to pay and collect it ;) that will be happening this wednesday... at least that's the plan.

Which brings me to Jacob's exam results. it's out on wednesday too. wish him luck... i really hope everything goes well.

all the best jacob darling... you've worked hard and studied hard... so i'm hoping that you make it good ;)

other than that... work starts tonight so i'm gonna have lunch might go out for a bit and then maybe get the clarinet thing sorted unless i'm too lazy i'll just stay home and then take a nap before having to go to work ;)

I'm starting to value the power of a good warm bath... nice and relaxing.

About Jacob - He's going to have a huge load of exams this week... as per my last post I hope it all goes well and I'm praying for him all the way.

About the car... we'll be doing a car view pretty soon and hopefully we like it... just find it a little hard to arrange viewing times with my schedule and his schedule too... it's kinda hard.

So we're looking at slightly smaller but reasonably spacious car. Namely... the Honda Civic. Just hope the model we want wouldn't be too pricey ;(

About the clarinet... I want to learn it! it's in the works i'm not sure about how it's gonna pan out but we'll see.

So, anyway... today is work day 1 for the week. It's alright... I'm kinda sleepy... haha. Just made lunch/dinner for jacob and possibly myself. Just on the computer checking some stuff out and surprise surprise... blogging! To the sounds of Two and a Half men ;)

The weekend was good... although I had another spell of no sleep for over 25 hours ;)

Went for Micheals party... bought him a present which i hope he likes. Then slept off most of sunday, went groc shopping and watched lots of The Big Bang Theory!

relaxing weekend... but it wasn't long enough lol...

So that's my shoutout... guess that's all I'm thinking at the moment... not gonna blog too much because i'm at work... though it's a quiet night... but i'll do my best and ensure it all goes smoothly ;)

tomorrow meeting with yee hsin to go shopping for a present for michael after work in the morning... michael's birthday thing in the evening. so that's good...

Yawn Inspection

One more night down! Last night was a little taddy little bit hellish.

But at least that's done and according to preliminary checks my work wasn't too bad... so i guess i'll take it as a go go GO! ;)

Just home from work and I'm sitting here blogging as i wait for the property manager. She's coming to do a property inspection today so I'm hoping that will go swimmingly without hassle. I'm not really in the right frame of mind to speak/think. I want breakfast and then I wanna sleep!

Sigh.

So other than that there's not much to update except that my mind is just swimming around the idea of a new car. What car, how much and where. And if my good friend will decide to take our current car off our hands. hope it's not too last minute... need time to look for a good deal. Hopefully it will be a car we'll use for at least the next few years til we can afford something else or need something else ;)

*pause*

Inspector just came and left, it went rather nicely. So it's good i guess. We'll get an inspection report in the next few weeks if my memory of the last time we were with quinovic is right...

I'm gonna go get breakfast - then try to go to sleep. I'll be all good for work tonight I hope ;)
