Another working day, but thought i'd take some time out just to blog a bit. not that anyone reads it ;p but that's probably the best way. somehow this whole idea of blogging seems a little fuzzy to me. I've spoken to some friends about it we just seem to have pretty much the same idea of what blogging is.
The internet is never a private place, not entirely anyway. unless you talk about things like online banking... right?... bah. but what i'm saying is - it's not that i expect anyone to read this because i'm not really the kind who makes an effort to advertise my blog, plus i don't think it's of any value to anyone else. So that's that - but then again I wouldn't care if a select few were to look here to pick on bits of my quirky mind - but only cos they care. no other reason - like i said it's of no value to anyone.
And then there are some people - i don't care if they read it, but i'd rather they not. cos somehow although i know that a blog online is not a private thing, however hard you try to make it so... sometimes i wish i could be crazily honest about things. Things in my life that most people wouldn't care to listen to. and somehow maybe someone will see it, and grant me the insight i crave for... whatever it was that i may or may not write about.
that was a little bla. lol.
but yeah today the theme is "worry".
I don't know why i worry so much. like i need to keep things all clear and tidy all the time so i know where i am and what i'm doing.
Probably influenced a little by my facebook page... i'm all confused and weirded out by the new design. why do they need to complicate it so much? i wish i could just strip it clean and redesign the page that is mine. lol... and sometimes i don't know but the more crap facebook allows on there the messier it gets. I need to cleanup my facebook page! lol... it's just another page that i'd use to interact with friends and stay in touch so we don't completely lose track.
I think it's something like blogging... lol.
but well, lets not let my obsession with tidiness cloud my judgement. just thinking about it is making me sleepy... yawn. and dizzy @_@
okay, so one more thought before i'm done here for the day ;p
"i don't have to like everyone/everything - and not everyone/everything has to like me. but if there is someone/something that's bothering me, i sure as hell would like to have an outlet to express it"

Flatmate is back and resolutions still going?
Hello hello.
So my flatmate's back, meaning me and jacob are no longer living alone... and it'll help with rent too :) so that's cool. Just hope this means good company and helping each other out as well as looking out for one another rather than - taking advantage of one another, conflicts and losing another friend. Can't help it hey... it's been real bad flatting with ppl... it's never easy and it always winds down badly... :(
So resolutions... still going strong. I'm determined to get fit and lose some good weight :) and do the tri leg well... and just be stronger physically...
Been busy lately too.
And tired.
So music's been on hold... but still playing a little bit of the clarinet... it's funny how some time apart from the instrument can improve your playing more than practicing daily... i was hitting a plateau prolly cos i was too tired of attempting the same thing and running low on breath each time...
But better now...
So it's early in the morning... we're supposed to go for a session of badminton today... after yesterday's evening session :) somehow just woke up a lil too early... so thought i'd update the blog not much to update though... there are somethings in my mind that i'm thinking of and i wise i had a bit more power to make a difference... but i'm just little me.
can't do anything about it.
Bla.
So will update again soon but meanwhile i'm just blabbing some stuff out to help me check my progress :) make sure i'm not slacking off hey.
a plus patate!

Almost a month into the new year...
So it's almost the end of Jan, lets see how we're getting on with the resolutions :)
So far it's been alright. I know i've been letting loose on the clarinet and the cello even - been so tired from all the sports i've been doing! so that means that I'm keeping at least two of my resolutions so far. Not saying that I'm giving up :) I'm just working at one thing at a time. Even so - I've been playing sports pretty much everyday - and only skip when my joints and muscles are too sore to go. Prolly resting two days in a week so far? I'm not sure.
But boy am I sore!
Anyhoo - that's how i'm getting on. I'm going to get fit. I'm eating right, and leading an active life. It's into week 2 since i started doing the sport a day thing, but i've been building up to it since the New Years... so hope i'll be fitter in no time.
Just got back from another round of badminton with jacob, and we're about to have dinner and wind down - tomorrow work starts again. Although it's a public holiday, but that's why i didn't have to work today, taking today off instead.
It'll be a short working week nonetheless, and i'm probably going to be swimming more this week as opposed to badminton - as tempting as that might be. But weight bearing activities have a way of killing me all over, prolly why i've always given up once trying everytime before. Sigh. Let's hope my knee caps don't explode ;)
lol.
So lets see how much i'll be swimming next week. I'll make an effort to play music a bit more but i've been spending so much time in the badminton court and/or the swimming pool it's been a struggle to find time or energy, or the strength to even hold the clarinet straight and play. I've just gotten an issue with the cello sorted... so will be good to go soon.
Right... so that's where i'm up to. Too tired to really go on typing much just thought i'd lay it out and it'll help me see things better than to think my life is a complete mess. Although sometimes I think it is.
Hope work tomorrow will go fine :)

Big shopping sprees, Auckland holiday, udpates
Been shopping non-stop since boxing day... all the way til now! Bought lots of stuff, and I'm not gonna list them all here lol... but lets hope i can get my plan to save up money into action. hmm...
So it's the new year, made some resolutions, i'll not say cos i know me... never stick to them. but i'll keep motivated and try to push my limits :)
Meanwhile i gotta get my stuff into gear, work starts tomorrow, and then soon after studies will start... gotta get all the documentation stuff done... will update when i can about those things... but there's really not much to say at this point.
Other than career and academics in action, there are other stuffs that i'd like to get to work... i.e. saving up some money, learning the clarinet, learning the cello, losing weight and getting fit, and improving myself as a person in general.
Think that I can do it?
you tell me.
Auckland holiday was fun. We stayed at the kingsgate in parnell which was the lowest point of our entire holiday experience, sure it was cheap but all we wanted were basic things like a clean bathroom, clean bed, and at least not hear crazy noises during the night through all the walls and ceiling! The bathroom had hair the moment we walked in, they were on the walls, and ceiling (?!). weird. The beds were itchy and there were ants everywhere! not sure if the ants are their fault though, but it's just funny cos i've never had ant problems in hotels before... hmm.
Oh well. We went to the sky tower which was nice, took some photos and explored a bit. Went around the city, walking was a pain cos we never quite knew where we were going. The shopping experience at first was a little of a disappointment... then Andrew brought us to the biggest mall we've seen here yet ;p that was good... but i guess the biggest thing we bought in Auckland was the Rockband set for PlayStation... lol. We're having fun with it but have not maximised its potential.
We also visited Kelly Tarlton, the underwater world... that was fun. There were lots of fishies and the stingrays were gynormous! geez! and there were some cute lil penguins etc etc... nice fun. Uhm... we went to the Auckland museum which was the best museum i've been to so far... it was big and awesome, and the building, even the building looked great - and exhibits were interesting and informative. We also went around to a botanical garden afterwards for a walk... and i guess the highlight of the holiday was spending time hanging out with Andrew :D Jacob thinks so too ;) always nice to have friends on holidays. otherwise it's just us struggling to get around... meh!
Spent New Year's Eve in the city with Andrew and his friend Charlie, it was nice, saw fireworks etc... and that was it.
The bus ride to and from Auckland were not very eventful but my legs swelled up both times, to the size of... ugh. lets not go there. The ride up - i guess the first half was awful cos we got car sick immediately... the bus was swaying left and right and we were pretty much sitting in the front... bleargh! Ride back was fine, we were looking forward to getting back to welly cos we missed it so much! :D
So now we're back in welly, my holidays finish today, and tomorrow work begins... :) i've not studied as much as i'd hope during the hols though... but will start getting things into shape next week. So get organised is the key i suppose?
Organise!
Hmm other than that there's not much... Marine is coming back tuesday :) and then will be looking forward to the weekend!
a plus!

Christmas and New Year!
Merry Christmas!
It was a nice Christmas day, quite laid back. We cooked practically all day, and ate all day! a few friends, a big pot of egg nog, some christmas food, yum yum yum!
On boxing day, we went on a huge shopping trip ;) bought lots of stuff, and i took the opportunity to buy some presents for Jacob, because I in my infinite wisdom bought no presents for jacob, for both our anniversary and his birthday (nor did i know what to get!). Oh and btw, we celebrated our 5th Anniversary - which i didn't blog about. yet. I'll just blog out about it in the next post :)
So now I'm on holiday, been so since christmas eve, and will be on holiday for the next two weeks ;) it's great, we're planning a holiday to Auckland starting tomorrow (well, we're riding the bus tomorrow night).
Til we're back, happy new year ;) and have a good time people :)

December's here ;)
So it's finally December!
Everyone's in the christmas mood, and everyone's getting started organising dinners and dos, balls and gatherings. Joy and cheer.
I've been really tired and out of it, partially due to work, and partially just normal stress i think. I've been passing out very easily, and sleeping for over 10hours. it's a record for me, i've never been this bad.
so anyhoo... lately it's just work and looking forward to the two weeks break.
blah. will post more on that later... i'm hungry.

About Jacob, the Car, and the Clarinet II
This post has been long delayed!
So about Jacob - He passed the exams with Flying Colours! :) Congratulations sweetheart! I knew you could do it!
About the car - we bought the Honda Civic Hatchback 1.7... it's going good so far ;)
And about the Clarinet - I picked up my clarinet and tried out a number of times... then had a lesson ;) It's good fun!
So that's about it for the update... for those three things anyway... will write up another post with a proper thought process... lol.
a plus darlings!
